Nathan Muller
As
co-founder, Nathan Muller leverages the full spectrum of his 37 years of
industry experience. He has published 30 books on technology, computers and
communications - including 6 technical encyclopedias (Amazon.com).
Nathan has also published over 2,000 articles in 75 publications worldwide.
Nathan
is a frequent speaker at industry trade shows and association meetings. He has
produced expert witness testimony for clients involved in FCC enforcement
actions and in patent litigation involving Internet technologies. For more than a decade he was on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Network Management and was a contributing analyst for Gartner for 15 years.
Nathan earned his MA from
George Washington University in Washington, DC, and his BA from San Diego State
University. He lives in Smethport, Pennsylvania.

Michael Cannon
As Managing Partner, Michael
Cannon has 2 decades in technical sales and marketing. He shares the
entrepreneurial drive of our small business clients, balanced with many
years supporting Public Sector and Large Enterprise customers. Michael’s client
focus is business development and marketing communications.
Michael began his career in
networking and telecom in the mid 1980's at Verizon. After 10 successful years in Business and Enterprise Markets,
Michael was recruited by MCI in the mid-1990's, where he managed National Accounts
and focused on
Network Development, Regulatory and Competitive Analysis programs. Prior to founding
Ascent he spent 4 years with Espire Communications as Director of Technical
Solutions.
Michael is a graduate of the
University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He and his wife, Amy,
live in Severn, Maryland with their three children.

Bryan Bussom
Bryan has responsibility for administration, research, web services and IT for the group.
Prior to Ascent Solutions managed executive metrics, budget, analysis, and
the Intranet for his division at Espire Communications. Bryan also worked at Aerotek and TEK Systems
where he was a Manager in
Operations Support. He also provided financial analysis and supported Fortune 500 clients
as an Account Manager.
Bryan is a graduate of Shepherd College and is pursuing his MBA at the
University of Maryland. He and his wife, Christine, live in York, PA with their 3 children.
